Meet Branden L. Brown

Marriage & Family Therapist

The award-winning Marriage and Family Therapist, Speaker, Father & Husband, Branden L. Brown, is the founder of Branden L. Brown Therapy and the creator of Men of Charity.

A Baltimore, Maryland native, Branden graduated with honors, earning a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a certification in Addictive Behavior. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Medical Family Therapy. His passion for making a positive impact was ignited during his service in the United States Navy, where he traveled the world, connecting with diverse communities and cultures, which strengthened his dedication to supporting families for nearly 20 years.

Branden has a diverse professional background, including serving as the Suicide Prevention Program Manager for Navy Headquarters in Millington, Tennessee. He also worked at The Elizabeth Hospice as a grief counselor and care coordinator for families, earning recognition from the California State Senate for outstanding service. He has been actively involved with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, serving as the keynote speaker for International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, and leading the nationwide "Let's Talk Suicide" seminar to break down the stigma surrounding mental health and suicide.

In San Diego, Branden has raised awareness through programs amplifying the voices of adoptees and foster youth. Committed to training the next generation of counselors, he has served as a guest speaker for Delta State University's Couples and Family Counseling freshman class. He is also the founder of Men of Charity, a men’s ministry designed to help members become better fathers, better husbands, and honorable men, while using their talents to strengthen the church both spiritually and physically.

Guided by the belief that "Everything Starts at Home," Branden established his practice to empower individuals and families to enhance their mental well-being, build resilience, and gain clarity in their relationships and goals. He loves his family and is grateful to God for the opportunity to serve others through his work.
